The breakfast was top-notch, and I couldn’t get enough of the local bread—the best I've tasted! The location was fab for exploring, with Mallyan Spout Coffee Shop just a short stroll away for a cheeky caffeine fix.
Had a right kerfuffle with the old decor and a bath instead of a shower. Carrying a massive bunch of keys was a pain, and the creaky stairs didn't help matters. not a single shop nearby for a drink—bit of a trek!

The room was spacious and well-equipped, but the
shower pressure could have been better. The location made it easy to explore Whitby on foot, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like replenishing coffee supplies. Angela and Rob were truly welcoming hosts, providing great dining recommendations.

Location is brilliant with a short walk to the harbour. The room lacked a shower.

The single room was a cozy hideaway, perfect for solo travelers looking for a peaceful spot. I appreciated the freshness of the breakfast, which I could customize the day before to fit my schedule—early risers take note!
The lack of a shower was a bit of a letdown. I had previously noted the bath situation, but for longer stays, that could be inconvenient. while the artistic charm of the place is unique, it does feel like it could benefit from some modern updates, as the decor was more on the dated side than anything else. The numerous keys to navigate around the property were a hassle too.

Just an appropriate option for an overnight stopping in Whitby with very good value for money. The atmosphere was nice, and it felt like a cozy place to recharge before heading out. Consider bringing your own snacks as there aren't many shops nearby for quick grabs.

It did get a bit chilly at times. maybe the heating could be a bit more reliable.

I had such a lovely time! The room was cozy, and I really enjoyed the variety at breakfast while chatting with fellow guests. A small downside was the chilly evenings, but all in all, everything was just right. 😊

We enjoyed our stay in the Deluxe Double Room, appreciating the quiet atmosphere. our experience was affected by the lack of breakfast options, leaving us disappointed particularly on Sunday. The heating also seemed inadequate, making some evenings quite chilly. Despite these minor issues, it's a good choice for couples looking for a cozy getaway.
